U.S. Gov't Is Scamming People with Confiscated Fyre Fest Merch
It feels like forever ago now, but Fyre Fest, the failed music festival that had hundreds of scared white kids sleeping on a deserted beach for a few days in 2017, is back (briefly).
Apparently U.S. Marshalls confiscated all the Fyre merchandise Ja Rule and Billy McFartland made to prevent them from later selling it and making a profit.
Except now those same government officials are auctioning the stuff themselves, and they're asking $500 for hats and more than $800 for hoodies.
This just goes to prove that no one is better at scamming Americans than the American government itself. You gotta respect them for that.
